Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) met the diagnostic criteria for osteoporosis; (2) met the Chinese medicine diagnostic criteria; (3) Patients were included if they were female Han Chinese patients who had undergone natural menopause at least 2 years prior aged 46-75 years old; (4) provided informed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) patients who did not meet the diagnostic criteria for osteoporosis or Chinese Medicine standards; (2) patients with rheumatoid arthritis, diabetes, secondary osteoporosis due to hyperthyroidism; (3) patients with severe cardiovascular or cerebrovascular diseases; (4) patients with abnormal liver and/or Shen function test results; (5) patients with osteoporosis who had received treatment with CM within the last month, hormone replacement therapy and calcitonin within the past three months, or bisphosphonates for 15 consecutive days within the past 6 months.
