Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. primary ACL rupture in adult patients; 2. NO serious ankle morbidity; 3. more than 24 months follow-up.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Serious osteoarthritis; 2. Age younger than 18 years; 3. revision cases; 4. Multiple ligament injuries; 5. chondral lesions greater than grade 2; 6. Serious meniscus injuries.
