Interventions

Group L+R:mid-forearm nerves blocked with 0.75% ropivacaine
Group L+RDp:mid-forearm nerves blocked with 0.75% ropivacaine mixed with dexmedetomidine
Group L+R+Di:mid-forearm nerves blocked with 0.75% ropivacaine and intravenous infusion of dexmedetomidine
Group LD+R:The supraclavicular brachial plexus was blocked with 1.5% lidocaine plus dexmedetomidine

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Aged 18 years or older, ASA I to III, and scheduled for elective hand and wrist surgery

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion of local anesthetic allergies, chronic pain, coagulopathy, infection at the planned injection site, peripheral neurologic disease,inability to comprehend study-related procedures.
