Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Conforms to diagnostic criteria of light or moderate depressive episode in the diagnostic and statistical manual of mental disorders (fifth edition) (DSM - 5); 2. Conform to the diagnostic criteria of depression patients with liver depression and and spleen deficiency syndrome in the Chinese medicine internal medicine disease treatment guidelines; 3. Aged 18 to 60 years male and female; 4. Subjects are informed, voluntary signing informed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: hypertension; cardiovascular disease; diabetes mellitus; obesity; liver cirrhosis;fatty liver disease; irritable bowel syndrome; inflammatory bowel disease; drug or alcohol abuse in the last year; use of antibiotics,probiotics, prebiotics, or synbiotics in the month before collection of the fecal sample; and known active bacterial, fungal, or viralinfections.
