A:received a single dose of 10mg IV-dexamethasone just after the general anesthesia was well performed by an analgesist
B:a single dose of 10mg IV-dexamethasone was administered just after the general anesthesia was well performed by an analgesist, and another 10mg IV-dexamethasone was administered 24 hours later
C:a single dose of 10mg IV-dexamethasone was administered just after the general anesthesia was well performed by an analgesist, and another two doses 10mg IV-dexamethasone was administered 24, 48 hou

18 Years to 80 Years
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) need total hip/knee arthroplasty for end stage joint disease, and >18 years old; (2) volunteers with good compliance and had been informed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. reversion or bilateral arthroplasty; 2. had glucocorticoid in last 3 months; 3. rheumatoid diseases, systemic lupus erythematous, ankylosing spondylitis; 4. the affected joint had severe deformity; 5. with severe liver and kidney function deficiency; 6. contraindication in using glucocorticoid.
