Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged 5-16 years old; 2. Diagnosis of bronchial asthma confirmed; 3. Mild to moderate asthma; 4. History of contact with House Dust Mice; 5. Positive reaction on Skin prick test (House Dust Mice); 6. Serum House Dust Mice-specific IgE = Level 2; 7. Never use Inhaled corticosteroids(ICS) or on regular ICS for at least 3 months (Budesonide or beclomethasone dipropionate <500ug/d or fluticasone <250ug/d); 8. TCM syndrome: Lung and Spleen Qi Difficiency or Spleen and Kidney Yang Difficiency; 9. Informed consent provided.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients accompanied with sever immune system disease, cardiovascular disease, maligant disease or chronic infectious diseases; 2. Patients who keep close contact with pets and who react positive on Skin prick test (hair of pets like dogs and cats); 3. Patients who are under an acute attack of asthma or whose Peak expiratory flow(PEF) < 80% of expected level measured three times in the previous two weeks before enrollment; 4. Patients whose first second forced expiratory volume (FEV1) < 70% of expected level; 5. Patients who are treated with beta-blockers; 6. Patients who are allergic to any of the medicines or treatment involved in this study; 7. Patients who once treated with House dust mite extract.
