Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: All subjects presenting for elective laparoscopic transabdominal radical resection of rectal cancer were included in the data analysis. Inclusion criteria included an ASA physical status of I, II or III, aged 46–65 years, body mass index less than or equal to 30.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria included contraindications to post-operative patient-controlled analgesia (PCA), allergy to sufentanil, allergy to lobaplatin, history of sinus bradycardia or AVB, history of major psychiatric disorder, history of substance use disorder, current opioid use and history of chronic pain.
