Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All of following 3 criteria should be met: 1. The diagnosis of sepsis and intestinal dysfunction and TCM Syndrome Differentiation for Yang Mingfu; 2. at the age of 18-80 years, scores of acute physiology and chronic health evaluation (acute physiology and chronic health evaluation, APACHE) score less than 20 points; 3. the patients and their families agree ICU care, accept acupuncture and sticking therapy, the observation and examination.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Meet any one of the following should be excluded: 1. malignant tumor, pregnancy; the patients and their families do not agree to accept acupuncture and sticking therapy; the treatment patients; 2. the Zusanli or Shenque acupoint (umbilical) infection; 3. the primary digestive tract inflammation (such as radiation enteritis, Crohn's disease).
