Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Consecutive H.pylori-positive outpatients (18 to 70 years), with endoscopically proven chronic gastritis or peptic ulcer diseases were enrolled in our study. H.pylori infection was confirmed by either cultures or histology. None of the participants had previously received treatment for H.pylori infection.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients were excluded from the study if any one of the following criteria was present: (1) patients who were allergic to any study medications; (2) patients who had taken antibiotics,bismuth agent,PPI or H2 receptor antagonist (H2RA) 4 weeks before the study; (3) patients with previous gastrectomy; (4) patients with malignancy or severe comorbidity; (5) pregnant or lactating women; (6) Patients with poor treatment compliance or could not express?themselves correctly; and (7) patients who participated in other drug trial recently (within 3 months of enrollment).
