Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Without sex and age restrictions; 2. Bilateral anterior disc displacement with Wilkes stages II-V; 3. Underwent arthroscopic disc repositioning by one senior surgeon (Chi Yang); 4. Had received no treatment other han medications before surgery.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Severe malocclusion; 2. Severe bruxism; 3. Serious psychiatric disease; 4. history of TMJ infection, injuries to the jaws, or congenital, developmental and systematic disorders; 5. Discontinued surgery due to large perforation observation intraoperatively.
