Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Adult males and females aged 20-40 years; (2) BMI 18.5-23.9(According to the 2013 standards of the national health and Family Planning Commission of the people's Republic of China); (3) Subjects without a history of atherosclerotic disease or hypertension; (4) Subjects must understand study and agree to participate; (5) Subjects must adhere closely to prescribed food consumption as per research protocol.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Abnormal liver function test (ALT>40U/L, AST>35U/L)/abnormal kidney function test (plasma creatinine>133µmol/L); (2) History of type 2 diabetes mellitus, cancer, stomach ulcers, drug abuse or alcoholism; (3) Alcoholics(weekly alcohol consumption is greater than or equal to 2 times,the amount of alcohol consumed per male was more than 25g,per female was more than 15g) or Smokers(smoking 1 or more cigarettes a day); (4) On lipid/blood pressure-lowering medication/supplements; (5) Blood pressure>140/90mmHg; (6) Fasting TC>5.38mmol/L; (7) Fasting TG>2.0 mmol/L; (8) Candidates who are going out during the planned schedule for the dietary intervention; (9) Allergy to interventions (palm olein, cocoa butter or olive oil) ; (10) Pregnancy and breastfeeding; (11) Subjects taking nutritional supplements or on any weight-loss programs; (12) Female subjects who are on oral contraceptives; (13) Subjects with history of hypo- and hyperthyroidism.
