10 Years to 15 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Adolescents who are aged between 10 to 15 years old; (2) AIS diagnosis confirmed by clinician; (3) Prescribed for brace treatment according to the SRS guideline; (4) Non-satisfactory bracing compliance (the latest weekly average bracing hours is less than or equal to 80% of the prescribed bracing hours).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Without parent's approval; (2) Adolescents who have previously practiced or are currently practicing meditation or mindful yoga; (3) Planned or conducted spine surgery; (4) Do not understand Cantonese (Cantonese is used by instructors and all materials of the intervention); (5) Presence of severe psychiatric disorders or those with suicidal ideation or suffered from significant disability which hinders class attendance.
