18 Years to 93 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. aged 18 years and elder; 2. receiving mechanical ventilation through tracheal cannula and/or tracheal incision; 3. with a proposed duration of mechanical ventilation of more than 48 h, and staying in the ICU for at least 5 days.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. those with contraindications for the mechanical ventilation such as pneumothorax and/or hemoptysis; 2. those with special infection such as tubercle by tubercle bacillus.
