Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Major depression disorder (MDD) patients must be in first episode or drug-nave (have at least 3-month free of antidepressant treatment). All MDD patients were right-handed, normal hearing and Han nationality; Aged 18 years and elder, DSM IV criteria for MDD, 24-item Hamilton Rating Scale for Depression (HAMD, Chinese edition)=17.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: People with other physical or mental disorder, treated with ECT or rTMS in the last one year, epilepsy, pregnancy or any other issues that cannot be getting into a high magnetic situation.
