Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. medication-naive type 2 diabetes with newly-onset; 2. Aged 30-70 years old, man or woman; 3. BMI=18.5kg/m2; 4. 7%=HbA1c=10.0%; 5. FPG=13mmol/L, 2h-PG=18mmol/L; 6. with informed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. type 1 diabetes, gestational diabetes and special type of diabetes; 2. with acute complications including ketoacidosis, lactic acidosis, hyperosmolar coma and infection in recent 1 month; 3. with severe heart disease, or with myocardial infarction, stroke, transient ischemic attacks, and peripheral arterial disease; 4. women with pregnancy, lactation; 5. with renal or hepatic dysfunction; 6. systolic pressure >180mmHg and/or diastolic pressure>110mmHg; 7. with acute or chronic pancreatitis, or with severe cardiovascular disease, malignancy, and severe mental disease; 8. alcohol, drug addiction; 9. FPG>13mmol/L and/or 2h-PG>18mmol/L; 10. with allergic reaction; 11. with hyperthyroidism or hypothyroidism; 12. with medication influencing on glucose metabolism including glucocorticoid, thyroxine, thiazide diuretics.
