Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. moderate-to-severe PAR patients aged between 18 to 65 years, and testing positive with a skin prick test for house dust mite (ALK reagent), according to Allergic Rhinitis and its Impact on Asthma (ARIA,2008); 2. patients with a Nasal Congestion Score = 2 and a TNSS core = 8; 3. patients diagnosed with the disease for at least 1 year, which affected sleep quality during the onset period; 4. no limitations regarding gender or ethnicity; 5. women of childbearing age using contraceptives; and 6. all patients signing informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. pregnant or breastfeeding women; 2. patients with nasal polyps, sinusitis, or obvious deviated nasal septum; 3. long-term users of corticosteroids or immunosuppressive agents; 4. patients with irregular lifestyle; 5. patients with cerebrovascular, lung, liver, kidney or cardiovascular diseases; and 6. patients unable to comply with follow-up requests.
