Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged 18-30 years; 2. Confirmed diagnosis of prehypertension (PHT) according to the JNC 7 criteria (SBP: 120-139mmHg and/or DBP: 80-89mmHg) were considered to participate in this study. Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Subjects with symptoms or clinical criteria suggestive of cardiopulmonary, metabolic, or major psychiatric diseases were excluded. None of the participants were receiving medical treatment before enrollment; They were required to abstain from food or drink for 2 hours prior to the training process and caffeine on the day of training to control for the impact of these variables on autonomic responses.
