Interventions

saline-low group:spay 2ml saline on the distal end of the ETT and its cuff, low cuff pressure
cream-low group:the distal end of the ETTs and their cuffs were lubricated with 1.0g compound lidocaine cream, low cuff pressure
spray-low group:spay 2% lidocaine hydrochloride 2ml onto the laryngopharyngeal structures, low cuff pressure
intravenous-low group:intravenously injection of 2% lidocaine hydrochloride by 1.5mg/kg, low cuff pressure
cream-high group:the distal end of the ETTs and their cuffs were lubricated with 1.0g compound lidocaine cream, high cuff pressure

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: American Society of Anesthesiologists physical status I–II patients aged 18-60 years and undergoing gynecological laparoscopic surgery; duration of intubation under 3 hours; BMI between 18.5 to 28

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with a history of pre-operative sore throat, upper respiratory tract infection, anticipated difficult intubation or requiring more than one attempt at intubation will be excluded from our study.
