Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Adult subjects (aged>18 years); 2. Diagnosis of cancer and receiving cisplatin-based regimens of any emetogenicity level; 3. Receiving one or two of the standard antiemetic regimens (5-HT3): ondansetron or granisetron; 4. Being able to swallow capsules; 5. TCM diagnosis of "stomach coldness"; 6. No self-prescribed therapies or complimentary products used for nausea; 7. Enrolled 2015, Aug -2016, Aug.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Had an allergy to ginger; 2. Pregnant or lactating; 3. Current radiotherapy, that is classified as high risk of causing nausea and vomiting; 4. Preexisting nausea or vomiting from any causes; 5. Presence of other diseases as possible causes of vomiting (hepatitis, gastrointestinal obstruction or diseases, et al); 6. Taking Coumadin or heparin for therapeutic anticoagulation, having blood disorders, having platelet count >100,000/ul before the baseline.
