Continuous exercise training group:Continuous exercise training (cycling, rowing or walking), 3 times per week
Interval exercise training group:Interval exercise training (cycling, rowing or walking), 3 times per week
Control group:Participants are advised to maintain their diet and level of physical activity during the intervention.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Males and females aged 30-65 years; 2. Diagnosed type II diabetes patients or pre-diabetes patients.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. BMI>38 kg/m2; 2. Diagnosed with cardiovascular diseases and muscle-skeleton diseases; 3. Diagnosed with type I diabetes; 4. Diagnosed with mental diseases; 5. Treated with insulin therapy.
