Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. first-treated Chinese patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma; 2. scheduled to receive RT; 3. aged 18 years old or above; 4. to be able to communicate in Mandarin.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients who have other serious diseases including diagnosed psychiatric morbidity and other types of cancer were excluded.
