Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria included isolated aortic valve replacement, New York Heart Association (NYHA) class I-III, left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF)>35%, normal liver and kidney function without history of liver or kidney disease, no inflammatory or immunological diseases and age>18 years.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: any concomitant diseases including nerve, mental illness or neurological positive signs, cognitive disorder, coronary heart disease, cardiomyopathy, diabetes mellitus, thyroid disease, infective endocarditis, malignant tumor, thromboembolism, hypertension, and hematological disorders; second cardiac operation; unstable preoperative hemodynamics; impairment of blood glucose control; duration of cardiopulmonary bypass beyond 120 minutes; redo for bleeding; and postoperative low cardiac output.
