Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients presented with a chronic wound less than 8 cm at the greatest diameter and greater than 2 cm at the narrowest diameter; 2. Chronic wounds were located in relatively smooth areas that were amenable to cupping therapy (e.g., shoulder back, haunch, abdomen and bilateral thighs).
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Chronic wounds with bone exposure and wound errhysis; 2. Patients were not suitable for NPWT or cupping therapy because of specific medical conditions (e.g., hematological diseases, anticoagulant use, or other chronic disease, such as heart failure, chronic kidney disease, severe hepatic damage, and tumors); 3. Patients received NPWT treatment or cupping therapy in the previous month.
