Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Thirty patients of either sex, American Society of Anesthesiologists physical status class II or III, and scheduled for undergoing coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) with CPB were enrolled in the present study. Exclusion criteria included :body weight exceeding 20% of ideal body weight (on the basis of body mass index recommendations), blood system diseases, or had impaired kidney or liver function, pregnant or breast-feeding, imminent death or with infections within the previous 2 weeks, treatment with radiotherapy, chemotherapy or immunodepressant drugs, blood transfusion before or duration of hospital stay.
