Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria for participating Centers/Hospitals: Grade A or B Class 3 Hospitals; There are sufficient good equipment and biochemical laboratory for routine clinical or medical services; There are more than 50 beds for stroke patients; Neural rehabilitation and physical therapists are available. Inclusion criteria for patients: 1. First-ever ischemic stroke or TIAs diagnosed according to current national diagnostic criteria; 2. Aged >=40 years; 3. Severity of stroke: no unconsciousness (NIHSS or mRS scales); 4. Patients or caregivers or proxies are able to provide consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria for patients: Unconsciousness; aphasia or language barriers; stroke with severe complications; others.
