Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Undergo elective surgery under general anesthesia; 2. Aged 18 to 70 years old; 3. ASA physical status I-III; 4. Understand and write informed patient consent before this stud.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. The surgery is operated through mouth or nasal or is thoracic surgery; 2. There is a history of nasal trauma, nasal surgery or nasotracheal intubation, or there are significant difference of both sides nasal patency; 3. Upper respiratory tract diseases or bleeding tendency; 4. Conscious intubation was indicated if patients had any documented previous history of, or features predicting, difficult ventilation or intubation.
