Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. We use the diagnostic criteria made by WHO in 1999; 2. Newly diagnosed type 2 diabetics, aged 30-65, with HbA1c<9% and hypodiabtic-drugs naive.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with FBD, IBD or other gastrointestinal disorders; 2. Patients with medications or surgery influential to gastrointestinal tract; 3. Patients with acute infection, or taking antibiotics or Glucocorticoid laterly, or with complications of DKA, lactic acidosis or hyperosmolar & hyperglycemic state; 4. Patients with abnormal kidney function and creatinine > 130umol/L; 5. Patients with serious cardiovascular diseases (eg. heart failuer,unstable angina, AMI and uncontrolled hypertension; 6. Patients with alanine transaminase and/or aspartate Aminotransferase >2.5*UNL and/or total biliary >2.5*UNL; 7. Women during pregnancy or lactation, and those who are unwilling to avoid conception.
