18 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients diagnosed with severe sepsis, and with gastrointestinal dysfunction; 2. Gastrointestinal dysfunction score >=2; 3. Age >= 18 yr.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Age < 18 yr; 2. Pregnant or lactating women; 3. With advanced malignant tumor; 4. Infected by HIV; 5. Death or discharge within 7 days from the beginning of treatment; 6. GCS <= 6; 7. Family members refuse to participate in this trial.
