Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Adult patients scheduled for surgery in the lateral position under general anaesthesia with tracheal intubation; 2. ASA I or II; 3. Patients agree to the scheme andsign the consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with BMI of more than30 kg/m2, cervical spine abnormality, pharyngolaryngeal disorder, anticipated difficult airway andan increased risk of aspiration were excluded.
