Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) Age between 18 and65 years, no gender limitation; (2) Patients who have the main symptom of low back pain lasting for less than 12 weeks,with or without leg pain, the pain is exacebated with the change of posture andpain intensity of 40 or more on a 100-mm visual analog scale; (3) No experience with treatment of wrist-ankle acupuncture; (4) Signature of informed consent form.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) Acute low back pain caused by inflammatory, tumor, osteoporosis, arthritis deformans, bone fracture, andfever; (2) Acute low back pain referred from organ systems (such as the abdomen, the vascular system, or the genitourinary system) or a systemic illness; (3) Take analgesic during the past 4 hours or slow-release analgesic during the past 12 hours; (4) Patients with serious or critical illness; psychiatric patients; pregnant women; acupuncture location with infection, tumor or dermatogic disease (5) Have an acupuncture syncope record; (6) Persons without the competence to finish the questionnaire.
