Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease

Interventions

Tai Chi group:Yang-style Tai Chi training with 24 forms in 30 minutes, three times a week.
Total Body Recumbent Stepper group:Moderate-intensity exercise training on a total body recumbent stepper in 30 minutes, three times a week.
Combined exercise training group:Exercise training on a total body recumbent stepper in 15 minutes and Yang-style Tai Chi training with 24 forms in 15 minutes, three times a week.
Control group:Usual medical care and education

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Diagnosis of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease; 2. Aged between 18 and 65 years; 3. Sign the informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. An acute exacerbation of COPD within the last 4 weeks; 2. FEV1<30% predicted; 3. Patients with tuberculosis and tumor; 4. Patients with serious primary diseases of the cardiovascular, liver, kidney, and hematological system; 5. Musculoskeletal or nervous system disease that can hinder the exercise training; 6. Mentally or legally disabled patients; 7. Patients had participated in formal exercise training in the previous 1 year.
