18 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Eligible patients were those aged 18 years or older and were going to undertake thoracic surgeries including traditional thoracotomy or thoracoscopic surgery.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients used to undergo thoracic procedure on the same side; 2. Patients who used opiates preoperatively; 3. Patients with comorbidities which would cause chronic pain; 4. Patients with disorders of limb's activity, paralysis or consciousness disturbance; 5. Patients with thoracic trauma.
