Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Pain limited to C3-6 cervical medial branch innervations;patients with neck pain of at least 3 months duration NRS>=4; patients over 18 years of age; Imaging examinations ruled out cancer, joint instability and other; patients without history of recent surgical procedures or invasive therapies within the last 3 months; patients who are willing to participate and return for follow-ups.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with severe cardiac and pulmonary diseases; spinal deformity; allergies to local anesthetics or steroids;dysfunction of blood coagulation;local or systemic infections; heavy opioid usage, uncontrolled major depression or uncontrolled psychiatric disorders,woman who were pregnant or lactating; chronic severe conditions that could interfere with the interpretations of the outcome assessments.
