Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All patients should meet MGD-Stage 2-3 according to the 2011 International Workshop on MGD. The diagnostic criteria are as follows: (1) symptoms of ocular discomfort: itching, or photophobia with limitations of activities; (2) clinical signs: one lid margin feature (plugging, vascularity) at least, meibum quality: grade >=4-<13, expressibility: 1-2, corneal staining: 0-10. Only the involved eye or the right eye will be enrolled.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Previous ocular surgery or trauma; (2) allergic to fumigation treatment; (3) systemic diseases or treatments that may affect the quality and stability of tear film.
