Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The inclusion criteria: patients with chronic nonhealing diabetic foot wound for more than 1 month, age range of 50–70 years old, ankle-brachial index of 0.5–0.8, transcutaneous oxygen pressure of 20–40 mmHg, and Wagner grade of 2–4. Part of the subject specimens in this clinical trial come from my previous clinical trial which also involved in the mechanism of negative pressue wound therapy on diabetic wound healing. The registration number is ChiCTR-TRC-13003399. The ethics reports, research proposals and informed consent have been submitted.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria were as following: patients with untreated cellulitis, malignancy in the foot wound, significant necrotic tissue and osteomyelitis as well as patients with a history of treatment with growth factors or hyperbaric oxygen therapy within 30 days prior to or during the study period.
