control group:normal diet and supplemented with 400IU vitamin D per day
calcium supplements group:supplemented with 430mg calcium from calcium supplements per day +400IU vitamin D per day
milk group:supplemented with 430mg calcium from milk per day+400IU vitamin D per day

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The postmenopausal women with dyslipidemia and change in glucose metabolism.Subjects were considered to have dyslipidemia and change in glucose metabolism if they met >=1 of the following criteria: 1. TC>=5.18mmol/l; 2. TG>=1.7 mmol/l; 3. LDL-C>=3.37 mmol/l; 4. HDL=5.6mmol/l.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria were as follow: any major active disease, including stroke, hypo-or hyperthyroidism, renal or hepatic disease, malignancy or metabolic bone disease; regular medication use which was likely to interfere with the study; supplementation with calcium or vitamin D in the previous years; hysterectomy.
