Interventions

Group A:Electroacunpunture on the acupoints (Baihui,Yintang,Hegu, TaiYang, Sishencong)
Continuous wave at 2Hz. Each treatment last for 30 min. Three times one week. Treatment course is 6 weeks.
Group B:Put the acunpunture needles on the acupoints (Baihui, Yintang, Hegu, TaiYang, Sishencong) Each treatment last for 30 min. Three times one week. Treatment course is 6 weeks.

18 Years to 45 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients meeting DSM-IV diagnosis standard; 2. 24 item HAMD scores: 20-35; 3. aged 18-45 yrs old; 4. first episode; 5. Patients did not take anti-depressive medication or other psychiatric medications 2 weeks before the intervention starts; 6. Education is beyond junior high school; 7. Voluntarily signed the informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. bipolar depression or others mental disorder; 2. Patients with severe depression or being suicidal; 3. patients with severe Physical disease; 4. Pregnancy depression or postpartum depression; 5. Addicted to drugs or alcohol; 6. MRI scans contraindications.
