Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. The patients who meet the Western medicine diagnostic criteria of periarthritis of shoulder; 2. The patients who meet the Chinese medicine diagnostic criteria of wind cold dampness in TCM; 3. age from 40 to 70 years old; 4. have signed informed consent, volunteer to receive the treatment. The process of obtaining informed consent should be in accordance with the GCP.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. age below 40 years old or age above 70 years old; 2. belong to acute soft tissue injuries , fractures, dislocation of shoulder; 3. Diagnosed with cervical pondylosis, rheumatoid arthritis or gout disease; 4. Those who suffer from severe heart failure, severe primary disease, lung, liver, kidney, hematopoietic system and the endocrine system, cancer, gastrointestinal bleeding, stomach ulcers and bleeding tendencies are not expected to complete the treatment test; 5. Those who are not qualified to fill in the questionnaire, for example those suffering from neurological, mental illness, illiteracy or poor compliance in screening process; 6. Breastfeeding and pregnant women or women who prepare to conceive; 7. Those who cannot take prescribed medicine and treatment, who are with poor compliance in screening process, who is difficult to be judge the effectiveness of treatment or do not get full treatment, leading to treatment failure or difficulty in safety judgment. 8. Those who are suffering from skin allergy or allergies; 9. Those who are participating or have participated in other clinical trials within the recent month; 10. Pain caused by cancer, infections.
