65 Years to 110 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients had to be >=65 years of age and ASA physical health class I to III, who were receiving elective knee or hip joint replacement. The operation time must to be 1 to 3 hours. The patients or their clients must to understand the study and sign their names on the document.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. legal incapacity, lack of cooperation; 2. the patients or their clients refuse to attending the study; 3. diabetic neuropathy; 4. lower limb ischemic cerebrovascular diseases; 5. alcohol or drug abuse; 6. the puncture site infection; 7. congestive heart failure; 8. adrenal insufficiency; 9. liver dysfunction; 10. disabling neuropsychiatric disorders, increased intracranial pressure, cardiopulmonary resuscitation or brain trauma, anaphylactic reactions to anaesthetics, or any operation in 30days.
