Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ASA physical status I-II term nulliparas (>37 weeks) with singleton presenting for Cesarean section under spinal anesthesia.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria were as follows: contraindications to spinal anesthesia,coexisting organ disease including heart, lung, brain, liver and kidney problems, pregnancy-induced problems such as hypertension, abnormal Hb disorders, smokers, peripheral vascular disease or obesity (BMI>30 kg/m2)
