Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 110 American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) status I and II children who were 5 months to 6 years of age and scheduled for cleft lip repair were included.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria included mental disease, neurologic disease, treatment with sedatives, full stomach, or indication for rapid sequence induction.
