Control group:Patients fasted for 12 hours and couldn't drank for 8 hours before the surgery. And when patients didn't have nausea and vomiting, they could take food and water 6 hours later after surg
Experiment group:Before the surgery, patients receive nutrition assessment. Patients fasted for 6 hours and couldn't drank for just 2 hours before the surgery. And as long as patients didn't have unco

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients who were diagnosed with lumbar disc herniation along with or not with spinal stenosis; 2. Patients undergoing percutaneous endoscopic interlaminar discectomy.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients who couldnt take food through the mouth because of stomatological diseases, dysphagia or esophageal stenosis; 2. Patients who had difficulties in communication or refused to participate in our study.
