18 Years to 60 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Agde 18-60 years; 2. Have a ICD-10 diagnosis of schizoprenia; 3. Patients who are recommended the convulsive therapy; 4. Take one kind of atypical antipsychotic drugs; 5. All subjects and their guardians are informed of the details and matters needing attention of the study before attending the study. And all subjects are voluntarily participating, subjects and their guardians sign informed consent in writing at the same time before the study; 6. Right handedness; 7. Live in Beijing for a long time.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with organic encephalopathy and dementia, serious physical disease, substance abuse, head trauma, epilepsy, Parkinson's and other neurological diseases, ventricular arrhythmias and other unsuitable patients; 2. Patiens with mental retardation; 3. Patients which are unwilling to co-operate; 4. Patients who are planned pregnancy or on pregnancy; 5. Patients who are allergic to propofol or etomidate and muscle relaxant; 6. Patients who accept ECT or repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation(rTMS) within three months; 7. Combined medication of atypical antipsychotic drugs.
