Vitamin A requirement for Chinese adults

Interventions

A Low dose group:Supplemented with 200ug vitamin A daily for 4 months
B Middle dose group:Supplemented with 400ug vitamin A daily for 4 months
C high dose group:Supplemented with 600ug vitamin A daily for 4 months
D Control group:Supplemented with 0ug daily for 4 months

Age
35 Years to 55 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Be willing and confident to cooperate with the investigatior; 2. With education level high than middle school and be able to help recording diets; 3. Aged 40-55 years old; 4. With normal weight and body mass index ranges from 18.5 to 28.0; 5. No habbits of smoking and wine.6.Serum concentration of vitamin A is in the normal range(>30ug/dl, <68ug/dl)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Severe cardiovascular or high blood presure,maglinant tumor and diabetes; 2. Intakes of vitamin or mineral supplements before 1 month from screen.
