Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ASA physical status class I or II, aged 2 to 12 years, undergoing elective operation which need intubation were recruited in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: No premedication was given. Exclusion criteria included presence of fever, allergy to study medications, use of psychiatric medications, neurological injury and abnormal lipid or carbohydrate metabolism.
