Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: The inclusion criteria were patients diagnosed with VH. All of the non clearing hemorrhages were dense, which compromised visualization of retinal details and the orange fundus reflex. This disease was diagnosed based on indirect ophthalmoscopy of VH and was confirmed by b-ultrasonography.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) a history of vitreoretinal surgery; (2) VH caused by retinal tears; (3) proliferative diabetic retinopathy; (4) retinal vascular occlusion; (5) postoperative fluorescein angiography (FFA) showing neovascularization, nonperfusion area or vascular leakage; and (6) other rare causes of VH, such as retinal arterial macroaneurysm, Tersons syndrome, proliferative sickle cell retinopathy and blood disorders.
