Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients who meet the clinical criteria for KOA formulated by the American College of Rheumatology(ACR) will be considered for inclusion(at least three out of six of the following criteria: morning stiffness lasts less than 30 minutes, crepitus is presentc, bony enlargement is apparent, bony tenderness is present, no palpable warmth is present, and presentation is suggestive of a radiological osteophyte); 2. patients aged 50 to 75 years; 3. Ill course 1-15 years duration; 4. Patient compliance is good, and willing to accept acupuncture or acupoint embedding therapy.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients who have severe reactions to acupuncture and acupoint embedding, or are unwilling to accept the acupuncture or acupoint embedding therapy; 2. Combined with severe cardiovascular disease, liver and kidney damage, immunodeficiency, mental disorders, or diabetes, hematopathy; 3. Patients accept other treatments during the process; 4. Pregnant or lactating women.
