Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: The acute exacerbation of COPD patients complicated with respiratory failure treated with tracheal intubation, Continuous admitted in department of intensive care unit, the of Northern Jiangsu Province Hospital from September 2017 to December 2018. All cases are consistent with the 2016 chronic obstructive pulmonary disease diagnosis, treatment and prevention of global strategy guidelines Diagnostic criteria for COPD (the Global Initiative for Chronic Obstructive Lung Disease GOLD).
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Exclusion of other serious diseases, such as acute myocardial infarction, advanced tumors and so on; 2. Serious malnutrition; 3. Severe pulmonary hypertension (mean pulmonary artery pressure> 45 mmHg); 4. Patients with facial trauma or facial deformities.
