an atropine group:the patients received 0.01mg/Kg intravenous atropine before anesthesia induction
a phlegm suction group:the patients received an episode of phlegm suction via the endotracheal tube 10 min after intubation

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Informed consent signed by all parents or legal guardians of the pediatric patients; 2. pediatric patients who were scheduled to receive adenotonsillectomy; 3. Aged 3-7 years; 4. ASA grade 1-2.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Pediatric patients with obstructive or restrictive lung diseases.
