Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: The acne vulgaris of the patients was graded in terms of property and severity as follows: moderate grade, which was acne that presented with inflammatory papules and pustules; and severe grade, which is acne that presented with inflammatory papules, nodules, cysts and scars
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: The exclusion criteria included use of any topical antibiotics within 2 weeks or intake of systemic oral antibiotics within 4 weeks, use of systemic retinoids within 6 months, topical acne drug treatments 2 weeks before the study, porphyria or facial atopic dermatitis, history of keloid or photosensitivity disorders, pregnancy or lactation. Patient with large cysts havent received surgical excision and drainage or intralesional corticosteroid injection.
